Transmembrane diffusion of model surfactants

It has been proven that there is transmembrane diffusion of surfactant molecules in model bilayers. Or in other words I found flip-flops in model bilayers. However the amount of flip-flops per time depends quite strongly on the type of surfactant. Nevertheless I found enough flip-flops to see that there is one dominate mechanism.
